One Step

I search for reasons to write and instead of focusing on the end goal, I've decided to focus on doing things, one step at a time.

Today, I worked on a presentation that I'm giving to People Support tomorrow. I need a job, I really do. Today, I truly enjoyed the challenge of making my mind work and fitting the pieces of the puzzle together. I am confident that my presentation is sound, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

I love that I have had this time to relax and spend time with my family. No hurries, no rush to do anything, just waking up in the morning and looking forward to the day. I didn't realize that I'd been home for over a month already! It's the little things that keep me busy.

I know there's so much to decide on, but nothing that can be decided on right this second. I'm truly trying to let things be as they be, come what may, and I'll figure it out as I go along.

So, here's to starting over, writing again, hopefully finding a job, and letting the pieces fall where they may. Here's to taking things, one day, one breathe, step at a time.
